The Diver's Arms is directly opposite the clock tower. Come any event (gig on the seafront, carnival, etc), prepare for a well-packed hostelry. I waited 30 minutes to be served when Rubber Biscuit were playing but the overworked staff were running around like headless chickens. Not a job I'd want.

How many times have I driven or walked past the Divers Arms? Dunno. So how is it I've only just noticed this sign? See? Even our pubs can be informative and entertaining. Very BBC.
