St Mary's parish hall is in Oxford Street, just down the road from the Oxford bingo hall. In 2002, this was the venue for Jo's 40th birthday bash, where an exceptionally good time was had by all, at least those who didn't think the band was too loud for the venue.....
It was also where Ivy and I took ballroom dancing lessons, courtesy of the Rowley School of Dancing. Well, up until I went to secondary school that is, because I didn't want my mates finding out that I danced. What a mug.
