Along the A290 "Blean bus route", you will find Red Lion House. The reason I include it among thes photos is not just because of the house but because of it's former resident and the area behind it. Those of you of a certain age may recognise the name Oliver Postgate. |

Oliver Postgate was the originator of a number of highly successful children's TV programmes, including Ivor the Engine, Bagpuss, The Clangers and this place. This path leads us to Pogle's Wood. |

And finally, Pogle's Wood itself. If I remember rightly, many of the earlier programmes were recorded at the house. |
