A Trip to Tankerton

(8 July 2007) Lately, Cheryl & I have had precious little time together, what with me working away and her working odd shgift hours. Today, we gave ourselves the luxury of a little trip up to Tankerton, as Cheryl fancied an ice cream. Rather an extravagent trip, perhaps but it was a lovely day and everyone seemed to be in Canterbury for the Tour de France, so we had the place almost to ourselves.

There are some aspects of life that the daily grind of work can't erode. Sitting on a bench watching the sea is one such aspect. Whatever your age, that joy should stay with you.

The other aspect of the area is the popularity of water sports, something I never really got involved in myself, other than being a member of the Whitstable Sea Cadet pulling crew. Oo-er, missus.

More of the same.....

..... and again.

An enthusiastic local walker came up to say hello while we had our sandwich.

Finally, I added this image for no particular reason, other than it took my fancy. Anyway; it's been so long since I updated the site, I thought anything would be better than nothing.....
