| This is the coastline from Swalecliffe as far as Seasalter golf course. The harbour can be seen jutting out where the coastline bends south. The large white mass on the far left is the coastguards caravan site and Tankerton slopes are in the centre. The tide is in, so the Street Stones are covered. |

| Those of you who have been away for a while may be surprised to see just how large the town has got. At this rate, it won't be long before Herne Bay and Whitstable become one. Now; just how sacrilegious is that? |
