On a trip to a customer in Maidstone, I joined the hundreds of other motorists trying to get out of Whitstable. For once, the councils had actually been prepared and had gritted the roads. The motorists, on the other hand, seemed less than prepared, so the queue went from Herne Bay (at least) to the Long Reach roundabout in Whitstable. Still; this was a nice view..... |

Cheryl & I took Ami out to the Whistlestop restaurant last week. While we were there, the weather turned. To snow. Here, Cheryl & Ami enjoy the fruits of Mother Nature down Swanfield Road. |

By the time I had got to Borstal Hill, the following day, a lot of the snow had thawed out and was being taken away by the car tyres. |

This house, on the corner of Manor Road and Tankerton Road, looked particularly Christmassy early the next morning. Again, within an hour of taking this shot, footprints, tyre tracks and sunshine had diluted the image somewhat. |

Tankerton Slopes were particularly chilly, too. It's often cold here, mind, what with the predominantly Scandinavian winds coming directly onto our shore. However, I don't often see Sheppey looking so white. |
