| We have now reached the junction with Cromwell Road. Anyone remember that single storey grey building in the centre of the picture being the town surgery? | Next up is the Coach & Horses pub, yet another Shepherd Neame licencee. The little road to it's left leads to Whitstable County Junior school. Next to that is the war memorial and behind that, the town library. |

| This is Whitstable's war memorial. Sorry it's an old photo; there were major roadworks around it when I went out photographing today. | So, now we are at the junction of Oxford Street and Nelson Road. This is Oxford Mansions, a name that gives the building an air of class. I have no idea what the apartments are like inside, however. |
