What people like about Whitstable is it's eccentricity. Interesting gate design there..... More quaint houses. But then, more satellite dishes, construction, roadworks.....

This is Marine Gap, which will lead to the tennis courts, seen in Island Wall (1). Another example of some of the fantastic properties around here.

..... and again. More examples of the type of weatherboard houses that proliferate the town and are so popular with visitors and wannabee residents alike. Oops; did that sound parochial? Along Marine Terrace you'll find the Old Neptune pub. Here you can see the back end of it; the white double-apex building at the back of the picture.

Walk up Marine Terrace and, from the Neptune, looking east, is the Royal Oyster Fishery building. We're now at the Sea Cadet boat yard, although it looks in more than a need of a major tidy up there. Come on lads.
