(Feb 2005) It's been a while since I added any of these pages to the site. I had a request a while back and decided to add Cromwell Road and Belont Street to the series. I've yet to get Cromwell Road sorted out and these images of Belmont Street aren't all that good in places but it's a start. I'll update them when the weather improves. |

| We'll start at the Canterbury Road traffic lights. This used to be the Railway Inn but is now a private house. It's for sale, too, if you're interested. | .....and when the Railway Inn was there, this was the Labour Club. Today, it's the Whistlestop restaurant, a great little venue that serves up enormous portions of well-cooked food. OK; plug over. |

| This picture gives an indication as to part of the Whistlestop's charm. It's built in what used to be the railway arches, under the Oxford Road railway bridge. | This house is directly opposite the Whistlestop. Whenever I go there to eat and look over the road, I wonder what it would be like to actually own that place. |

| The Labour club is now here, in what used to be the Golden Lion. | Whitstable only has one tower block and this is it - Windsor House. |

| Whilst ostensibly houses, Belmont road also has this little industrial estate tucked behind the terraces. | These will be more terraced houses, then. |

The cricket ground is opposite the terraced houses above and goes to the end of the road to meet up with Millstrood Road. |

| This is the path to the Belmont Road football ground, home of Whitstable Town FC. For those of you wondering, the gas tower went a few years back. | Back to the last few houses in the street. We're now approaching the Millstrood Road roundabout. |

| The path here used to lead to Maflins which, if I recall, made spectacle frames. | Finally, we reach Old Bridge Road and the Millstrood Road roundabout. |
