Welcome to hbay.co.uk. Herein, you’ll find a disorganised assortment of photos and articles about Herne Bay and Whitstable, the home towns that make up my corner of southeast England.27 January 2005: a couple of local issues have arisen this week, as shown below.

1. St Philip Howard School
I got an email from Haydon Rouse, a fellow website administrator and a parent of a Philip Howard pupil. The school is earmarked for closure next year and parents have organised a campaign group to fight it. To find out more, click here.

2. Whitstable Toy Run Association

Steve Stubbs of the Whitstable Toy Run Association contacted me this week, asking if I would assist by promoting the proposed revision of the group. There will be a meeting at the Greenhill driving range in Bullockstone Road on SUNDAY 30 JANUARY at 1:30. Steve is asking anyone with ideas or an interest in helping to come along and have their say.
